Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a Contracts Project Manager, where your expertise will help drive renewable energy projects across the country. In this crucial role, you will lead pre-construction activities, coordinate contract negotiations, and provide essential contract administration support to project teams throughout the execution phase.
Location & Travel Details:
This is a traveling position with up to 100% travel required. You will be assigned to various project locations across the US, spending an average of 8-12 months at each site. We offer a designated daily per diem in addition to your base salary to assist with living expenses, and you will have opportunities for routine travel home during project rotations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiations and the development of contract exhibits to support new projects.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Construction team and experts to ensure thorough internal review of contracts from the verbal award phase to execution.
- Assist in presenting key contract terms to project teams post-award and prior to mobilization.
- Guide the operations team in crafting notices to clients related to contractual requirements such as force majeure and delays.
- Engage with project teams in regular meetings to provide updates and support.
- Advise Project Managers on contract change needs, track changes and claims toward resolution.
- Support teams in documenting and administering major property insurance claims.
- Facilitate project closeout to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including certificates and warranties.
- Document lessons learned related to contracts during project execution for future improvement.
- Be prepared to be on-site as needed for up to 25% of project duration.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of contract management experience in large-scale construction projects ranging from $30MM to $150MM.
- Experience with construction management software for at least 3 years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with software such as Viewpoint, Procore, and Project Controls.
- Expertise in contract management principles and common provisions.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in contract drafting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- In-depth understanding of construction contract requirements and claim processes.
