We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level Compliance Officer/Auditor. This role supports day-to-day compliance functions focused on key reporting, routine daily audits/investigations and exposure to regulatory frameworks.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Daily Audits & Monitoring:

  • Auditing of Sports Book Mobile Promotions and other area Promotions as they are needed:
  • like all of the Key Audits
  • upcoming Social Gaming
  • or IGaming Promotions and Audits for those areas
  • Fixing of Key related Issues
  • maintaining a par level inventory for Key supplies
  • ordering supplies for Key needs
  • Dice & Card Investigations
  • Shredding Escorts
  • Mail and paperwork disbursement and enrolling or filing
  • Perform daily audits of transactions, NIL documentation, and compliance records.
  • Identify potential irregularities or red flags; escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain organized daily logs and audit trails.
  • Conduct spot reviews of KYC, AML, and NIL activities.
  • Assist in refining internal auditing procedures based on state or federal updates.

Qualifications/Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field required.
  • 4 years internal audit, regulatory and/ or gaming finance experience preferred, however other equivalent and demonstrable casino operational experience will be considered.
  • Functional knowledge NIGC MICS and related compliance preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Title 31 and SARC requirements required.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word.
  • Experience with IGT Systems preferred.
  • Should possess strong attention to detail.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English. Excellent written communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Ability to present information in a clear and concise fashion and speak to large groups in connection with training activities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers, employees and members of management.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • A commitment to confidentiality required.
  • Other duties as directed by the CFO or General Manager.

  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations and be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.

  • Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the property.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with vendors, management and employees in all situations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, or stretch for filing purposes.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a computer terminal.
  • Must be able to work all shifts as required, including weekends and evenings.
